The perfect pair for soft, silky summer skin

We’re thrilled to introduce a limited-edition collaboration with Dehiya, a fellow black-owned, women-owned brand that offers skincare products that are deeply-rooted in African history. This two-step exfoliating and hydrating routine is sure to help you achieve your healthiest, most radiant skin yet!

Dehiya's Body Mihakkat are handcrafted of terracotta and covered with organic cotton. It's the perfect addition to your skincare ritual for extra exfoliation.

Our hydrating body cream helps relieve even the driest, most sensitive skin. This fast-absorbing body cream reinforces the skin's barrier and restores moisture.

Our Body Mihakkat are handcrafted of terra-cotta and covered with organic cotton, dyed with natural pigments extracted from the flowers and clay indigenous to the Atlas Mountains. It is a perfect addition to your skincare ritual for extra exfoliation with your beldi soap. Can be used on the body and feet.

How To Use

Use the mihakka for dry skin exfoliation, or wet the flat surface and add the cleanser of your choice. Massage in a circular motion with light pressure. After rinsing, moisturize with Karité Crème Corps Hydrating Body Cream while the skin is slightly damp.

Special Care

After use, your Body Mihakka should be rinsed thoroughly and laid on its side to dry (flat surface facing upwards). Your Mihakka should be sanitized 1-2x/month. You can boil it on a simmer for 90 seconds.

After your Mihakka begins to unravel, use the clay piece as a foot scrubber.

Wet or dry exfoliation can help rid your body of toxins, increase circulation and energy, and help break down cellulite for the appearance of tighter, smoother looking skin.

Dry or wet exfoliate before shaving or in-between waxing sessions to prevent ingrown hairs and promote smooth skin. Exfoliate rough areas such as knees, elbows, heels. Eliminates dead skin cells and preps the skin to better absorb nutrients and produce natural oils.

Additional Info

  • Handmade and organic cotton dyed in Marrakech, Morocco at a local women-owned co-op.

I LOVE the hand cream. I want to rub it all over my body! Everything about it is awesome... moisturizing but light, I love the way it smells (I usually do fragrance-free everything) and the packaging is absolutely beautiful! Seriously I am hooked. Must never be without it!

This stuff is a decadent dream. I’ve been using both the hand cream and body butter and on numerous occasions my husband has commented on how good I smell. It’s thick, creamy and leaves my skin feeling beautiful and rejuvenated.

Helena, New York

Karité is liquid gold! Actually it's a thick, very moisturizing creme that isn't too heavy or greasy. My skin feels soft and supple after using it, which is no small accomplishment considering how many times I wash my hands a day. It also helps soothe the eczema patches on my hands.

Valaine, Pennslyvania

Every Purchase Makes a Difference

An important part of the Karité mission is to support other women and give back to our communities in a meaningful way. We partner with women-run farm cooperatives in northern Ghana where the shea nuts for our shea butter are harvested and processed. Through projects such as our #SheaForSoles initiative, we’re helping provide better working conditions for these women so they can continue to grow with our company, provide for their families, get better access to healthcare and send their children to school.

We're also currently donating 10% of all proceeds to Black Lives Matter.
